Spring flowering bulbs such as Daffodils, Crocus, Hyacinth or the favorite Tulips, should be ordered in time for your fall planting in October. The ideal time to plant is after the first frost and the soil temperature has dropped below sixty degrees.
As we approach September and October, our flower gardens in many cases have surpassed their prime, and we begin to think of new plants to replace those tired annuals.
